What happens when voting isn't the end-all and be-all for change?
Extra Democratic challenges the notion that voting solves every issue by itself, and instead amplifies a narrative highlighting a holistic balance between civic engagement and extra-democratic solutions outside of the ballot box.
Centering around six young organizers in Atlanta, Georgia who are driving change outside of traditional democratic methods, we’re giving voters and young people an expanded perspective on the tools for social change, and challenging the narrative of “don’t complain if you don’t vote”.
